About us......
Personal Home Care Services (PHCS) is a family-run, private home care provider based in Oldham, North West England. Established in 2016, we bring over 20 years of combined care experience and are proud to be rated “Good” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
We specialise in providing a realistic and dignified alternative to residential care, supporting individuals to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. Our dedicated team is committed to delivering care that is safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led. Every care plan we create is fully person-centred, thoughtfully tailored to reflect each individual’s needs, preferences, culture, and lifestyle.
Our Story
PHCS was born from personal experience. When our beloved grandmother became unwell, our family struggled to find care that truly met her needs — particularly care that respected her language, culture, and personal wishes. Faced with these challenges, we realised there had to be a better, more compassionate way.
By creating Personal Home Care Services, we were able to support our grandmother to remain in the comfort of her own home, where she lived happily for many years longer than expected. This deeply moving experience inspired us to help other families facing similar difficulties. Today, we are proud to specialise in providing tailored home care, with particular expertise in supporting BAME communities, ensuring care is respectful, inclusive, and culturally sensitive.

Building on our success, PHCS Ltd is now expanding across the UK through a carefully developed nationwide franchise network. While our reach is growing, our values remain the same. Each local PHCS office serves a small community, allowing care teams to stay close, responsive, and genuinely connected to the people they support.
